Dog Boarding Test Run

Why do we use a Boarding Test Run?

Our Boarding Test Run was designed to monitor your dog over 24 hours to help determine whether or not he’ll be comfortable while you’re away. Being in an unfamiliar environment can cause stress on any dog. At NBK9, we’re all about alleviating that stress.

What will the boarding team look for?

We’ll look at behavior, body language, stool softness and eating patterns to help us determine if your dog is comfortable without you.  Another key aspect of the test run is to determine his comfort level with other dogs. Those who prefer the company of humans will be placed in our specialized One-on-One Boarding program.

Scheduling the Test Run

We schedule test runs Monday-Friday with drop-off and pick-up in the morning. We require that all clients interested in boarding complete a boarding test run 10-14 days prior to their desired first stay. If you’re not sure if our boarding program is right for your dog, check out our boarding checklist.
